Major Employee Leasing Company

Goal:
To streamline the initial sign-up process of a major business service provider to reduce errors on initial payroll runs and improve new customer team productivity.

Project Description:
Completed an initial analysis of more than 20 forms used to sign up new clients.  More than 70% of the information was redundant on the forms.  Traced the source of data for each form and created new processes where forms for the next step was created by the previous step's system so that data did not need to be rewritten and only "new" information was added.  Additionally, designed system interfaces to move needed data from all other system to the production system so that all previously entered data was available to the new customer team.  New customer reps verified data, edit information that had changed, and approved it for use in the corporate production system.

Results: 
Reduce time to sign up a new client by 68% and paperwork by more than 50% by consolidating
over 20 different forms.
